Hashimoto’s Diagnosis? Now What?

So you got a diagnosis of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Now what?

If you’re like most of my patients, you’ve been dealing with the symptoms of Hashimoto’s (let’s just call it Hashi) for many years now. And to be honest, your MD most likely doesn’t care whether it’s Hashi or hypothyroidism because they don’t have the tools to treat them differently, but I do!

First things first: I’m sorry that you feel so crummy, and now you have the name of a chronic disease to help explain your symptoms of fatigue, hair loss, joint pain, anxiety/depression, weight gain, memory loss, and body temperature dysregulation (and that’s probably just the tip of the iceberg). Even though you got this diagnosis, you probably weren’t given a roadmap on how to navigate it and what you need to do to feel better. Maybe they prescribed you a medication, but you’ve most likely been on that same medication for years and you still feel shitty.

I’m here to give you hope, and a helluva lotta love, support, and knowledge!
